The 10X Points Booster
Most of the players who ask us about 10X are already on the server every night, and this booster was really made with them in mind. Everyone earns 2 points for every 30 minutes online, and with 10X running that goes up to 20. Over a four hour session you walk away with 160 points, where the normal rate would leave you holding 16.
What 20 points a half hour gets you
Points never wipe, and /shop takes them for pretty much everything we sell in game, from raid gear and guns to meds, vehicle airdrops, a recycler and the four one-time kits. The kits are where you feel 10X the most, because the time to earn each one drops to a tenth of the usual grind:
- Armory at 98 points takes about 2 and a half hours on 10X, against about 25 hours at the base rate.
- Builder costs 104 points, which comes in at around two and a half hours.
- Raid is 138 points, or roughly 3 and a half hours of playtime on 10X.
- Chad is the big one at 594 points, about 15 hours on 10X compared with about 150 without it.
The shop also has a 5-point sunrise that turns night into morning for the whole server. On 10X you earn that back in under 10 minutes, and it's an easy spend when it gets too dark to farm.
Paying for it
The cheapest way in is the 7-day token at $25, paid once with no billing after that. Regulars can go monthly for $30, while the yearly plan at $300 works out to $60 less than twelve months of paying monthly. Both of those are subscriptions that start the minute you pay.
Everything is on the store, where you sign in with Steam and pay through PayNow, our payment partner. Your booster lands on your account in game within a few minutes, even if you're offline when the payment goes through.
When 5X or 2X is plenty
This is the booster we would tell a casual player to skip, because 10X only pays off when you put real hours in. If you log on for a couple of evenings a week, 5X at 10 points every 30 minutes or 2X at 4 points will do fine for less money. Players who would rather have the points today can buy points packs on the store, starting at 500 points for $10.
Odin players already get a 7-day 10X token each month, packed in with their Chad kit token. Buying one more on top of that is fine, since a second token just adds another 7 days to the end of the one that is running.
Stacking and the small print
Points boosters stack by adding up. If you own a 2X and a 10X at the same time, you earn at 12X, and with a 5X running too it's 17X. You can own one booster of each kind, and they run with any rank or with no rank at all. None of them unlock paid Facepunch DLC or paid skins.
Turning it on
A monthly or yearly plan is live from the minute you pay, and there is nothing to type for it. The 7-day token works differently, because it waits on your account until you decide to use it and it never expires or gets wiped. Once you're ready, type /redeem in game to pull up your token menu, then press ACTIVATE on the 10X token. While it runs, that menu shows a timer with your time left, and /boosters opens it too if you forget the other command. If it were our token, we would hit ACTIVATE right after a map wipe and watch the balance climb with /rp over the next few nights.
