The 2X Points Booster: How Points Work and What It Adds
The 2X points booster is the cheapest thing on our store, at $5 for a full week or $6 for a whole month. Everyone on Asgard earns 2 points for every 30 minutes they spend online, and with 2X active that number goes up to 4. Points never wipe, and what you earn during a boosted week is still sitting in your balance after the next force wipe. Type /rp in chat whenever you want to see the running total.
What double points adds up to
Points are spent in /shop, which sells raid gear, weapons, ammo, meds, vehicle airdrops, a recycler and the four one-time kits. At the normal rate an Armory kit costs 200 points and takes 50 hours online to earn. With 2X running that drops to 25 hours, and a Raid kit at 360 points comes down from 90 hours to 45. The Builder kit falls between those two at 220 points, or 27 and a half hours of play with 2X on.
The Chad kit is a different story at this speed. It costs 1,500 points, which is still over 187 hours of play even with the booster on. Players chasing Chad will get there much faster on 5X or 10X, or by buying a points pack, and those start at 500 points for $10. In our view 2X does its best work on the smaller kits and on the 20-point sunrise, which turns night into morning for the whole server.
Week, month or year
The weekly option arrives as a 7-day token that waits on your account until you decide to start it. Tokens never expire and they survive wipes. A good time to use one is a force wipe week, or any week when you have more free time than usual and plan to be on most nights. On the subscription side, the monthly plan is $6 and the yearly plan is $60. Both start the minute you pay and keep renewing until you cancel, and the yearly one comes out $12 cheaper than a full year of monthly payments.
Before you buy
- You can run a booster with any rank, or with no rank at all.
- You can hold one booster of each kind.
- Points boosters stack by adding up, so a 2X running with a 5X pays 7X, and all three together pay 17X.
- A second 7-day token adds another 7 days to the end of the first one.
That last point matters most to Loki players, because Loki already includes a 7-day 2X token with every monthly renewal. A token you buy lines up behind the one from your rank, and together they make two boosted weeks in a row. Thor and Odin ranks come with 5X and 10X tokens, and while one of those is active, a 2X booster adds nothing on top.
Turning it on
Pick it up in the boosters section of the store, sign in with Steam and pay through PayNow, our payment partner. It shows up on your account within minutes, even if you're offline when the payment clears. A monthly or yearly plan switches on by itself and needs no command in game. For the 7-day token, type /redeem and hit ACTIVATE, or use /redeem 2x to skip the menu entirely. That same menu shows a timer with the days and hours left on your week.
