The Builder Kit: A Whole Base in One Token
The opening stretch of a wipe is the part we enjoy least, because on a one grid map you spend it hitting nodes while every other group is farming a short walk away from you. The Builder kit is our fix for that, and it's the one-time kit we'd point most players toward first. It is a single token that puts a full base worth of materials and doors into your inventory when you claim it.

- 20,000 wood and 20,000 stone
- 15,000 metal fragments and 3,000 HQM
- A tool cupboard, 2 beds, a building plan and a hammer
- 2 metal doors, 2 metal double doors, 1 armored door, 1 armored double door and 2 garage doors
- 8 code locks
On Asgard resources stack to 25,000, which lets the 20,000 wood and the 20,000 stone sit in one slot apiece.
Where it earns its price
The frags and HQM go a long way on a small core, and the armored doors mean your loot room isn't sitting behind a basic door on the first night. Eight code locks cover every door in the kit with a couple left over for boxes. We like the two beds in this kit more than most people expect to. Beds here respawn you every 10 seconds, and one you've only just placed is ready after 30 seconds, so a second bed inside the base is worth a lot when a fight at your door goes badly.
We think it does the most for people who log on an hour or two after the wipe starts. By then the groups around them already have walls up and are out roaming the map. It helps after a raid too, although raid block now stops building and upgrading for 5 minutes after an explosive hit, and kits are locked during raid block and combat block as well. In practice, the time to claim it is before anyone starts shooting at you. If you also have Loki, Thor or Odin, turn on /bgrade 3 before you start placing and every block goes up as metal straight away, paid for out of the kit's own resources.
Paying with points instead
You don't need to spend money on it at all if you have some patience. Everyone earns 2 points for every 30 minutes online, and the kit sells for 220 points in /shop. At the base rate that comes to roughly 55 hours of play, which is a long time, though a points booster cuts it down a good deal. Your points never wipe, and Loki players also get one Builder token every month with the rank.
Paying and claiming
If you'd rather pay, open the store, sign in with Steam and check out through PayNow, our payment partner. The token shows up on your account within a few minutes, even if you're offline when you pay. Once you're in game, type /redeem to see your tokens and hit REDEEM beside the Builder kit, or use /redeem builder to skip the menu. The token carries over between wipes, and holding one for the opening minutes of the next map is how we'd use it ourselves.
