The Chad Kit: The Biggest Kit on Asgard

We reduced the explosives found in loot on Asgard, which means the C4 for most raids has to be farmed and crafted before anyone hears a bang. The Chad kit lets a group skip that whole step. It costs $60 on the store or 1,500 points in /shop, and it is the largest one-time kit we sell. It's overkill against a small two by two, and we'd hold it back for a base that has earned the attention.

What lands in your inventory

  • 20 C4
  • 20 rockets with a rocket launcher
  • An AK-47 and an LR-300
  • 256 rifle ammo, plus 128 explosive and 128 incendiary rifle rounds
  • A worn metal kit (metal facemask, chestplate, roadsign kilt, hoodie, pants, boots and tactical gloves)
  • A spare facemask and chestplate with a second roadsign kilt
  • 50 large medkits and 50 bandages
  • 100 blueberries

Both rifles and the launcher go to your belt, and the armor is on you when the menu closes. Medkits stack to 25 here, and all 50 fit in two slots.

Twenty rockets is a lot

The Raid kit has 4 C4 and 10 satchels, which is enough for one decent raid if you scout first. Chad carries five times that much C4 and adds twenty rockets on top. A trio can open a big, heavily upgraded compound with it, or spread the explosives over a couple of bases in the same wipe and keep the neighbors nervous. Most people underrate the medical pile in this kit. The group you just raided often comes back for you, and fifty medkits is a long fight's worth of healing.

Saving up the points

Anyone can earn this kit by playing and points never wipe, but at the base rate of 2 points per 30 minutes online, 1,500 is a long save. That works out to a bit over 370 hours in game. A 10X booster pays 20 points every half hour and cuts it to under 40 hours. The 7-day 10X token costs $15, and a little over five hours of play a day for that week covers the kit. If you have the time, we think that's the better deal, though some players would rather pay once and get on with the wipe.

If you'd buy a Chad every month anyway, look at the Odin rank, which sends one Chad token with each renewal along with a 7-day 10X points token.

Paying for it and opening it

On the store you sign in with Steam and pay through PayNow, our payment partner. The token reaches your account within minutes, even if you're offline, and there's nothing to renew or cancel later.

In game, /redeem brings up your token menu with a REDEEM button beside each kit, and /redeem chad skips straight past it. The token stays on your account through any number of wipes, which suits anyone holding it for the force wipe on Thursday, November 5. That map runs until Monday, because we skip the Friday wipe right after a force wipe. Redeem it before the first rocket flies, because kits are locked for 5 minutes once you hit a base and for 1 minute after any fight.

If the token still isn't there after a relog and a few minutes, open a ticket in #create-a-ticket on our Discord and include your Steam profile link and the email you paid with.
