The Heimdall Rank: The Discord Kit Every Day
Every player on Asgard can grab the Discord kit once per wipe after linking Steam to Discord. Heimdall is our first rank, and it hands you that same kit every 24 hours. It costs $10 a month, or $96 if you pay for the year, which comes to 20% off.
What you get in the daily kit
One claim gets you a Thompson and 128 pistol ammo, plus a roadsign jacket and kilt, a coffee can helmet and 3 medical syringes. The building half has 10,000 wood, 10,000 stone, 1,000 metal fragments and 250 HQM. It also packs a tool cupboard, 2 metal doors, 3 code locks, a sleeping bag, a building plan and a hammer. We map wipe on Monday and Friday, and we like starting those days with a gun in hand. Between wipes, it helps you get back on your feet when a raid leaves you with nothing.
Tokens that land each month
Every monthly renewal puts one Builder kit token on your account, or every 30 days on the yearly plan.
The Builder kit holds 20,000 wood, 20,000 stone, 15,000 metal fragments and 3,000 HQM, plus a tool cupboard, 2 beds, 8 code locks and a full set of doors up to armored and garage doors. That is a whole base in one claim. A token never expires, and it stays on your account through every wipe. Our advice is to save it for a fresh map, so your group has walls up before anyone else.
Heimdall does not include the building commands /skin, /upall, /up and /bgrade, which come built into Loki, Thor and Odin. If you've linked Steam and Discord for the free Discord kit, you can still use /skin with the skins your Steam account already owns.
Building room and the extras
Your building limits go up, and you can place 5 tool cupboards, one more than the usual 4. Auto doors come with it too, and they close behind you once you turn them on with /ad. Your name shows in gold with a Heimdall tag in chat, and you get a Discord role and the private #heimdall channel.
How much it actually helps
A rank does give you an edge, and with Heimdall most of it comes from the daily kit. Everyone earns 2 points for every 30 minutes online, and a Builder kit costs 220 points in /shop, which means players with no rank can reach the same base by putting in the hours. The daily Heimdall kit is the one piece that only comes with the rank. If you play most days, alone or in a small group, you will claim it often enough to feel it. For one evening a wipe, the free Discord kit already covers you, and a one-time kit token from the store may be the better buy.
Buying it and getting set up
You'll find Heimdall in the ranks section of the store, where you sign in with Steam and pay through PayNow. It renews monthly or yearly until you cancel, which you can do any time from the PayNow subscription portal. You keep the rank until the paid period runs out, and it stays on the Steam account you used at checkout.
In game, open the kit menu with /kit, or type /kit heimdall to take it by name. Your Builder tokens wait for you in /redeem, each with a REDEEM button beside it. Kits are locked during raid block and combat block, so we'd claim the daily one before heading out.
