The Loki Rank: Satchels, C4 and No Queue

When a regular group asks us which rank to start with, we usually point them at Loki, the first rank with explosives in its daily kit. For $22 a month you get a daily kit with a semi-auto rifle, a Thompson, 6 satchels and 2 C4. On a one grid map that wipes twice a week, leaving spawn with a raid in your pockets changes how the first hour plays out.

The kit you get every day

Every 24 hours you can claim it again, and it holds the same items each time:

  • A semi-automatic rifle with 384 rifle ammo, and a Thompson as your backup gun
  • 6 satchel charges and 2 C4
  • Roadsign jacket, kilt and gloves with a coffee can helmet, worn over a hoodie, pants and boots
  • 2 supply signals and 1,500 HQM
  • 8 syringes, 2 large medkits and 30 blueberries

The satchels and C4 are the part we would look at first. Explosives in loot are turned down on Asgard, and a group spawning on a fresh map with this kit can open a weak base before most players find any.

What lands in /redeem each month

Each renewal adds an Armory kit token to your account, with a 7-day 2X points token, and on the yearly plan the bundle arrives every 30 days.

The Armory token is the one we would hold onto. It has two AK-47s with 384 rifle ammo, 2 full metal kits, 15 large medkits, 15 bandages and 15 blueberries, which covers you and a teammate for one proper fight. Tokens never expire or wipe, and our habit is to keep this one for a raid defense.

The 2X token doubles your points for seven days, from 2 to 4 every 30 minutes, and its timer only starts when you press ACTIVATE. If you buy a second 2X token, it adds seven days on the end of the one already running.

Queue skip and the smaller perks

Loki is our cheapest rank with queue skip, which puts you past the line when the server is full. The default is 4 tool cupboards for everyone, and Loki lifts that to 6 and raises your building limits too. Auto doors stay off until you type /ad. In chat you get a Loki tag, and on Discord you get the Loki role and the private #loki channel.

Loki also has four building commands for as long as the rank is active. With /upall 3 your whole base goes up to metal, while /up 3 upgrades only the building you're looking at. Turning on /bgrade 2 makes everything you place go up as stone, and /skin puts any free workshop skin on the item in your hand. Every upgrade still costs the usual resources and stops during raid block, the same as using a hammer.

We would rather be upfront about where the edge is. Players without a rank can still get the Armory kit for 200 points in /shop, and everyone earns 2 points per 30 minutes online. There is no points price for the daily Loki kit or the building commands, and the kit is the main thing the rank money buys.

Buying and cancelling

Loki sits in the ranks section of the store, where you sign in with Steam and check out through PayNow. A year costs $215, which is $49 less than twelve monthly payments. Both plans renew until you cancel from the PayNow subscription portal, and you keep Loki until the paid time runs out. The rank is tied to whichever Steam account you used at checkout.

Once you are in game

  • /kit loki claims the daily kit, and plain /kit opens the menu instead.
  • /redeem opens your token menu, where you press REDEEM on the Armory kit or ACTIVATE on a 2X token.
  • /ad switches your auto doors on and off.

A raid block or a combat block locks your kits, and a raid block now also stops building and upgrading for 5 minutes. We always grab the kit before heading out. If the rank is missing after you pay, relog and wait 10 minutes before opening a ticket in #create-a-ticket on our Discord.
