The Raid Kit: Everything for One Clean Raid

We cut back the explosives that turn up in loot on Asgard, and we did it on purpose because we think a raid should cost a group something. The catch is that a trio can spend half a wipe farming sulfur and still come up short on boom when they finally spot a base they want to hit. The Raid kit is the shortcut we sell for that exact moment. You buy it once as a token for $23 on the store, and it waits on your account until you want it.

The loadout

Claiming the token puts all of this in your inventory at once:

  • 4 C4 and 10 satchel charges
  • An LR-300 with 128 rifle rounds, 64 explosive rounds and 64 incendiary rounds
  • A full metal kit with a metal facemask, metal chestplate, roadsign kilt, hoodie, pants, boots and tactical gloves

The rifle goes straight onto your belt and the armor is already on your character when the menu closes. Everything else lands in your main inventory, and we'd move the C4 and satchels to your hotbar before you walk out the door.

Spending it well

Four C4 and ten satchels will get one focused raid done, but they go quickly when a group starts blowing holes at random. Walk the base before you claim anything and count the doors and walls between the outside and the tool cupboard. We'd let the satchels do the early work and hold the C4 back for whatever is left in front of the TC. The plain rounds are for the people inside, and the explosive and incendiary 5.56 gives you something to put into the base once the charges run out.

Raid block got stricter

Blowing into a base starts a raid block on you that lasts 5 minutes, and the people defending it get one too. Since our October 15 update, the block covers a lot more than it used to:

  • No teleports and no /shop
  • No kits, and that includes this one
  • No building, and no placing deployables or doors
  • No repairing or upgrading

You can still put ladders up while you're blocked. Claim the Raid kit at home before the first charge goes on a wall, because after that you only have what you carried in.

Earning it with points

The points route works too, with the Raid kit priced at 360 points in /shop. Everyone gets 2 points for every 30 minutes online, which comes to about 90 hours of play at the base rate, or around 18 hours with a 5X points booster running. Points never wipe, and whatever you save during a slow week is still sitting there next month. Thor players can skip the saving entirely, since the rank sends one Raid token every month.

Paying cash and claiming it

Paying cash starts at the store, where you sign in with Steam and check out through PayNow, our payment partner. The token reaches your account within minutes even if you're offline, and as a single purchase it never bills you again. When you're ready in game, type /redeem raid and the kit is yours on the spot. Plain /redeem opens your token menu instead, with a REDEEM button next to the Raid kit and a count beside it if you own more than one. It never expires and it carries over through wipes, and we'd keep one in there for the wipe when a neighbor finally pushes your group too far.

If you paid and the token still isn't in the menu after a few minutes, open a ticket in #create-a-ticket on our Discord with your Steam profile link and the email you paid with.
