The Thor Rank: An LR-300 and Rockets Every Day
We cut down the explosives you find in loot on Asgard, because we wanted raids to be earned. The catch is that most raids then start with a long sulfur farm. Thor is the rank we made for groups who would rather spend that time raiding. The rank is $50 a month or $410 a year, and once every 24 hours you get a kit that already has the rockets and C4 in it.
The kit you claim every day
This is what lands in your inventory each time you claim it:
- LR-300 with 512 rifle ammo
- Rocket launcher and 6 rockets
- 5 C4 and 8 satchel charges
- Metal facemask, chestplate and roadsign kilt with hoodie, pants, boots and gloves
- 3,000 HQM, 3 supply signals, 10 syringes, 3 large medkits and 40 blueberries
Take it before you go loud, because kits are locked for 5 minutes after you use explosives on a base or someone uses them on yours, and for 1 minute after a fight. Since Oct 15, a raid block also stops repairs and upgrades for both sides of the fight, though ladders still work.
Tokens that come with each renewal
Each renewal drops a Raid kit token and a 7-day 5X points token onto your account, and on a yearly plan the same bundle shows up every 30 days. Out of that bundle, the Raid kit is the one we'd point to first. It holds 4 C4, 10 satchels, a full metal kit and an LR-300 with 128 rifle, 64 explosive and 64 incendiary rounds. On its own the store sells it for $23, which makes that one token close to half the cost of a Thor month.
After you activate it, the 5X token pays 10 points every 30 minutes for seven days, against the normal rate of 2. The building commands /skin, /upall, /up and /bgrade don't need a token, because Thor has all four built in for as long as the rank is active. They help most on busy wipes, when /bgrade 3 puts every wall up as metal (you still pay the resources, and the commands stop during raid block).
Smaller perks
Thor skips the queue and has higher building limits. The tool cupboard limit goes up to 7 from the usual 4, and it counts every TC your team has placed. You also get auto doors, a Thor tag in chat, a Discord role and the private #thor channel.
Getting the same gear with points
Everyone earns 2 points for every 30 minutes online, and points never wipe. A player with no rank can buy the Raid kit for 360 points in /shop. The daily Thor kit is a different story, since nobody can claim it without the rank. We'd suggest Thor to a trio that plays most nights, because three map wipes a week give a daily kit plenty of fresh maps to land on. If you play once a week, one Raid kit token or a pile of saved points gets you that raid for less.
Buying Thor and claiming it
Thor is in the ranks section of the store, where you sign in with Steam and pay through PayNow. It keeps renewing until you cancel in the PayNow portal, and after that you still have it until the paid time runs out. Once it's on your account, you'll use these commands in game:
/kitopens the kit menu, where the Thor kit sits next to the free kits./redeemlists your tokens, with REDEEM on the Raid kit and ACTIVATE on the others./redeem 5xgoes straight to the booster./adturns on auto doors, which start switched off.
